Application forms are available online on the A.B.U. portal, http://forms.abu.edu.ng, at a cost of N2,500.00 (excluding bank charges), payable at participating banks as indicated online.

SECTION A

ABU Admission into Institute of Administration Full-Time Diploma Programs 2023/2024
NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMS (NBTE APPROVED)

1. National Diploma in Public Administration
Entry Requirements:

• Minimum of 120 aggregate JAMB/UTME scores in related subjects.
• 5 Credits in SSCE GCE ‘O’ level including the following:
  i) English Language
  ii) Mathematics
  iii) Economics
  iv) Government/History
  v) And any other 1 credit

Duration: 4 semesters (2 sessions)

2. National Diploma in Accounting
Entry Requirements:

• Minimum of 120 aggregate JAMB/UTME scores in related subjects.
• 5 Credits in SSCE/GCE ‘O’ levels including the following:
  i) English Language
  ii) Mathematics
  iii) Economics
  iv) And any other 2 credits

Duration: 4 semesters (2 sessions)

3. National Diploma in Business Management
Entry Requirements:

• Minimum of 120 aggregate JAMB/UTME scores in related subjects.

PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMS

1. Diploma in Accounting
Entry Requirements:

  iv) And any other 2 credits

Duration: 2 years (Full Time)

2. Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain
Entry Requirements:

• 5 Credits in SSCE/CCE ‘O’ level including the following:
  i) English Language
  ii) Mathematics
  iii) Economics
  iv) And any other 2 credits

Duration: 2 years (Full Time)

SECTION C

ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

1. Advanced Diploma
Entry Requirements:

• Diploma in any of the following fields with a minimum of a MERIT grade from any recognized University or Polytechnic (2 years):
• Public Administration
• Local Government
• Personnel Management
• Human Resources Management/Social Welfare
• Administration and Secretarial Studies
• Accounting
• Banking/Insurance Management from Institute of Administration, ABU Zaria
• Nursing/Midwifery/Community Health officers (CHO) with a minimum of 5 years working experience in the Public Service

**2. Diploma in Public Administration/Local Government from Institute of Administration, A.B.U, Zaria with PASS grade but having a minimum of 3 years working experience in the public service.

All candidates into Advanced Diploma (ADPA) must possess 5 credits in ‘O’ level including English language. Duration: 2 years (Full Time)

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Applications should be made online upon payment of the prescribed application fee of N2.500.00

Candidates should visit the A.B.U portal, http://forms.abu.edu.ng, and generate a Transaction ID. They will then proceed to the bank to make the payment before returning to the portal to complete the form.
