Requirements for IJMB Admission

To be eligible for admission, candidates must have obtained a minimum of five (5) credits in the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), which must include English Language, General Mathematics, and three other subjects.

At AFIT, we consider admission into our institute a highly promising opportunity, especially for students who successfully complete the IJMB program. Therefore, candidates are required to have sat for and passed the IJMBE examination with a minimum score of 10 points and above.

Important Information for Admission

Upon admission into the IJMB program, students are required to meet the aforementioned requirements. Following registration, they will undergo a one-year intensive program to prepare them for their desired future careers. All admitted and registered students will be placed in one of the five academic groups: IJMB 1, IJMB 2, IJMB 3, IJMB 4, IJMB 5, or IJMB 6. The group placement takes into consideration the student’s intended future career path and the O-Level credits obtained.

• NAF personnel are not eligible to apply for IJMB programs.
• Admission into AFIT is strictly based on merit. We do not request payment from applicants for admission processing or influence admissions through monetary means.
