3. Duration of Programmes

Part-Time Degree

Six years (for Secondary School Certificate holders)

Five Years (for Post-Secondary School Certificate holders) 

Certificate Courses

From 6 to 12 months

4. Method of Application

i. Applicants are to apply through Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and process admission with the JAMB Registration number.

ii. Candidates should process to JAMB through CAPS.

iii. Visit the Benue State University portal at www.bsum.edu.ng or https://portal.bsum.edu.ng; 

iv. Click on Part-Time (Under application on the University portal); 

v. Complete and print out the pre-registration form;

vi. Proceed to Fidelity Bank Plc and pay five thousand (N5, 000.00) naira only, using the generated Application Number.

vii. Re-visit the Benue State University Portal, complete the Application Form, and submit. Then print two hard copies of the completed form for reference purposes.

viii. The printed copies of Completed application forms must be returned, with photocopies of relevant certificates and credentials, to: 

The Secretary, Centre for Continuing Education, Benue State University, Makurdi.

Candidates for Certificate courses are to visit University Portal for their application forms. You need not apply through JAMB.

5. Duration for Sale of Application FormsSale of Application forms commenced on Monday, 27th March 2023 to close on Friday, 21st April, 2023.Note:
