Caleb University releases 2023/2024 Pre-degree Admission form; Caleb University invites applications from eligible candidates for the 2023/2024 intensive Pre-Degree Programme lasting one academic session.

This program aims to equip candidates with deficiencies in their O’Level results, preparing them for successful re-sits and the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination [UTME] for entry into Caleb University’s 100 Level Degree programs.

2.0 WHY THE PRE-DEGREE PROGRAMME?

Caleb University releases the Pre-Degree Admission form for the 2023/2024 session. Candidates who write JAMB without preparation may face challenges in the general admission process. However, Pre-Degree students passing their JAMB will secure admission through the pre-degree quota designated by Caleb University.

2.1 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

(a) Candidates should have credits in at least three (3) subjects (such as Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Government, Economics, Literature in English, Christian Religious Studies (CRS), and Accounting) in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination, GCE, or NECO, obtained in NOT more than two (2) sittings.

(b) Candidates meeting the admission requirements will be invited for an admission interview.

2.2 SUBJECTS ON OFFER:

  • Mathematics
  • English
  • Economics
  • Literature in English
  • Christian Religious Studies (CRS)
  • Accounting

3.0 CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION INTO 100 LEVEL: Each candidate must achieve the minimum JAMB score. Additionally, candidates with deficiencies in their O’level results are required to REGISTER for WAEC and/or NECO and pass all relevant deficient subjects.

Successful candidates will gain admission into 100 Level courses across various fields: Science, Management Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Education, Law, and Nursing. The program is residential, and all admitted candidates will be accommodated at the Imota Campus.

4.0 METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Prospective candidates are expected to:

a. Obtain admission forms from the University campuses, staff members, or approved admission executives.

b. Register online at http://www.admission.calebuniversity.edu.ng

c. Attend the Admission Interview, either at the Magodo City Campus (College of Law, Ikosi GRA, off CMD Road) or at the Main Campus.

d. Admission Interviews are scheduled at 8.00 am every Wednesday and Thursday throughout November and December 2023 and January 2024.
