Admission Requirements:

FACULTY OF HUMANITIES [B.A. (Hons.)]

CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS STUDIES:

  • Two ‘A’ level passes in Christian Religious Studies/Religious Studies and any other Arts subject.
  • Five credit passes in English Language, CRK, and three other relevant subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE, or equivalent examinations.
  • UTME Subjects: English Language, Christian Religious Knowledge, and any other two related Arts subjects.
  • Candidates require at least a Credit in Mathematics.

ENGLISH LITERATURE:

  • Two ‘A’ level passes in Literature in English and one other Arts subject.
  • Five credit passes in Literature in English, English Language, and three other subjects, two of which must be Arts subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE, or equivalent examinations.
  • UTME Subjects: English Language, Literature in English, one other Arts subject, and another Arts or Social Science subject.
  • Candidates require at least a Credit in Mathematics.

HISTORY AND DIPLOMATIC STUDIES:

  • Five credit passes in English Language, Geography, Government/History, and any two Arts or Social Science subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE, or equivalent examinations.
  • UTME Subjects: English Language, History or Government, and any other two subjects from Arts & Social Science.
  • Candidates require at least a Credit in Mathematics.

FACULTY OF SOCIAL AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES [B.Sc. (Hons.)]

ACCOUNTING:

  • Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any other two relevant subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE, or equivalent examinations.
  • UTME Subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Economics plus any related Arts or Social Science subject.

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION:

  • HND with at least Lower Credit in Business Administration or relevant disciplines in addition to the UTME Requirement.
  • Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any other two relevant subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE, or equivalent examinations.

PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION:

  • Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Government, Geography, and Statistics.
  • Five credit passes in English Language, Economics, Government, and a trade subject at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE, or equivalent examinations.
  • UTME Subjects: Government, Economics, and any other subject.
  • Direct entry candidates must also meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements.

ECONOMICS:

  • HND with at least Lower Credit in Economics or relevant disciplines in addition to the UTME Requirement.

BANKING AND FINANCE:

MARKETING:

  • Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography, or Statistics.

  • Two ‘A’ level passes in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.
  • Five credit passes in English, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE, or equivalent examinations.
  • UTME Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • Direct Entry candidates must also meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

  1. Visit the University admission portal at www.clifforduni.edu.ng.
  2. Click on the link https://clifforduni.edu.ng/oas.
  3. Click on “Create New Account.”
  4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and other details.
  5. Choose your Username and Password.
  6. Proceed with the completion of the form.
  7. Correctly enter your JAMB Score, Personal details, and O’Level results.
  8. Select your first and second choice of course within the institution.
  9. Select the declaration box appropriately.
  10. Submit your application.
  11. Print out your acknowledgment slip.
  12. Await further communication from the University.

FOR DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES:

  • Ensure that your academic transcript reaches the Registrar, Clifford University, Owerrinta, on time.
  • Failure to submit the academic transcript will result in the candidate not being considered for admission.
