This program spans over two (2) years, comprising four (4) semesters. Successful candidates will commence academic activities in May 2024, leading to the award of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nursing, Midwifery, and Public Health by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) in November 2026.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a Registered Female Nurse (RN) or Midwife (RM) with a current practicing License.
• Possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, or NABTEB with at least five (5) Credits (obtained at not more than two (2) sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Note: Candidates presenting NABTEB results must have all required five (5) credits in it. Combining NABTEB with other results is not permissible.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Interested applicants should follow these steps:

1. Visit the College portal: http://www.colnursingscigombe.ng to make payment of a non-refundable fee of TWENTY THOUSAND NAIRA (N20,000:00) via the Remita platform, excluding e-service charges.
2. Obtain the form at the College ICT Unit or designated business centers.
3. Attach the following documents to the completed forms:
   • Two (2) certified recent passport-size photographs.
   • Photocopies of all credentials including primary and secondary school certificates or browsed copy of results.
   • Photocopy of receipt of form purchase.
   • Local Government indigene certificate and declaration of age or birth certificate.
   • Notification of Registration as Registered Nurse (RN) or Midwife (RM) with a current practicing license.

COMMENCEMENT AND CLOSING DATES FOR THE SALES OF APPLICATION FORMS:

• Sales of admission forms: April 29th to May 8th, 2024.
• Submission deadline for completed application forms: May 10th, 2024.
• Note: There will be no extension of the deadline for the sales of application forms.
