In this role, you will play a vital part in guiding nursing students through their clinical training, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge needed for success in their future careers. Successful applicants will work closely with students in healthcare settings, providing feedback, guidance, and support as they navigate real-world environments.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate student learning and contribute to curriculum development.
- Coordinate classroom and laboratory activities, evaluate student progress, and maintain academic records and attendance.
- Develop educational materials such as syllabi, assignments, and handouts.
- Foster a sense of collegiality within the academic community by participating in committees, faculty meetings, and departmental activities.
- Stay updated in the field through professional development opportunities.
- Provide academic support outside of the classroom.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
Applicants MUST:
- Hold a good first degree in Nursing Science (BNSC).
- Be registered and licensed to practice by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience or demonstrated related experience.
- Be a committed Christian.
- Possess exceptional communication and pedagogical skills.
- Align with the values of ECWA and demonstrate outstanding moral character and integrity. Applicants must also uphold Governing Documents and ECWA Constitution and Byelaw.
