Entry Requirements:
To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Possess at least five (5) credits in SSCE (WAEC & NECO), G.C.E. O’Level, NABTEB, or their equivalent in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
- Candidates must have sat for the 2023 UTME in the relevant subjects for the course of study.
Eligibility for Participation:
i. Candidates who chose Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku as their first or second choice and scored 100 and above in the 2023 UTME Exercise.
ii. Candidates who did not choose Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku but now wish to be considered for admission and scored 100 and above in the 2023 UTME.
iii. Candidates who did not choose Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku as their first choice in JAMB must log on to CAPS@jamb.gov.ng and complete the change of Institution procedure before application.
iv. Candidates whose choice of course in UTME differs from what they are applying for must log on to CAPS@jamb.gov.ng and complete the change of course procedure before application.
Note: Candidates who do not comply with the above procedures will not be considered for admission.
Method of Application:
Follow the steps below to complete your application:
Step 1: Visit the Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku admission portal at https://admission.mydspg.edu.ng.
Step 2: Fill out the displayed form, ensuring that all asterisk () fields are completed. Use a valid email address and click “Send login credentials to email address”. Step 3: Open your email and copy the username and password provided in the message. Step 4: Return to the admission portal (https://admission.mydspg.edu.ng) and paste the copied username and password in the respective fields. Step 5: Click “Login” to access your page. Step 6: Fill out the application form, paying attention to the asterisk () fields. Upload a passport photograph with a maximum size of 200kb and a red background.
Step 7: Review your application data before the final online submission. Please note that once submitted, the application cannot be edited.
Screening Method:
- All candidates will undergo a computer-based test.
- There will be a physical screening of candidates’ certificates and evidence of compliance with the application procedure.
- Any candidate found to have provided false or wrong information will be disqualified.
Closing Date for Application:
The closing date for application submission is 30th November 2023.
