ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
(Ai) COMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENSION WORKERS (CHEW) COURSE:
Prospective candidates must have five (5) credits at WASC, NECO, or GCE ‘O’ Level in not more than two (2) sittings. The five credits must include Biology, English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Retrainee JCHEW applicants must hold a JCHEW certificate with at least two (2) years of post-qualification experience in addition to the above requirements.
(Aii) JUNIOR COMMUNITY HEALTH EXTENSION WORKERS (JCHEW):
Applicants must possess three (3) credits in WASC, NECO, SSSC, or GCE ‘O’ level examinations in not more than two (2) sittings. The three credits must include English Language, Biology, Mathematics, and any other two passes, one of which must be in Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Food and Nutrition, and one of Economic, Agricultural Science, Accountancy, or Commerce.
(B) DISPENSING OPTICIANRY COURSE:
Candidates should have four (4) credit passes in WASC, SSCE, NECO, or GCE ‘O’ level examinations. The four credits must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and English Language.
(C) ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGY (ND):
Prospective candidates should possess five credit passes in WASC, SSCE, NECO, or GCE ‘O’ level examinations in not more than two (2) sittings. The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
(D) ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGY (HND):
Applicants must hold a National Diploma (ND) in Environmental Health Technology with evidence of completion of one (1) year relevant work experience.
(E) ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN:
Candidates should have three (3) credits and two (2) passes in WAEC, NECO, and GCE ‘O’ level or Teacher (TC II) certificates in not more than two (2) sittings. The credits and passes must include English Language, Biology/Health Science, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, and any other subject.
(F) ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ASSISTANT:
Prospective candidates must possess four (4) passes in WASC, SSSC, GCE ‘O’ level, or NECO GRADE II or NABTEB certificates in not more than two (2) sittings. The passes must include a pass in one (1) Science subject and English Language.
(G) HEALTH EDUCATION TECHNICIAN:
Candidates should have four credit passes in WASC, SSSC, GCE ‘O’ level, or NECO examinations. The credits should include Mathematics, English Language, Biology or Health Science, and any one of Chemistry, Economics, or Geography.
(H) HEALTH EDUCATION (ND):
Prospective candidates should possess five (5) credits in WASC, SSCE, or GCE O’ Level or NECO examinations, including Mathematics, English Language, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry, and Physics.
(I) HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN:
Candidates must have five (5) credit passes in WASC, SSC, GCE ‘O’ level, NECO, or NABTEB examination, including credit in English Language, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry/Physics, Mathematics, and one other subject.
(J) HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (ND):
Applicants must possess five (5) credit passes in WASC, SSCE, GCEO’level, NECO, or NABTEB examination, including English Language, Biology, Chemistry/Physics, Mathematics, and one other subject.
(K) HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (HND):
Candidates must possess a National Diploma (ND) in H.I.M with a minimum Lower Credit or Professional Diploma in H.I.M by HRORBN, with evidence of completion of one (1) year relevant work experience.
(L) NUTRITION AND DIETETICS (ND):
Prospective candidates should possess four (4) credits passes in WASC, SSSC, and GCE ‘O’ level or NECO examination, including Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, and any other two subjects.
(M) NUTRITION AND DIETETICS (HND):
Applicants must meet the requirements for ND and possess a minimum of Lower Credit (CGPA 2.50 and above) in the cognate ND examination.
(N) MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN:
Candidates must have five (5) credits at not more than two (2) sittings in WASC, SSCE, GCE ‘O’ level, NECO, or NABTEB examinations, including Biology, Chemistry, English Language, and Mathematics.
(O) PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING:
Prospective candidates must possess five (5) credit passes in WASC, SSCE, GCE ‘O’ level, or NECO examinations, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
(P) HEALTH TECHNICIAN:
Candidates must have five (5) credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, and any other two (2) Credits in WASC, SSCE, GCE, or NECO examination.
(Q) HEALTH ASSISTANT:
