ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMMES

Dominican University Post-UTME 2023: Eligibility and Registration Details

• All admissions will be processed through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
• For admission into 100 level (UTME), prospective students must:
• Obtain a minimum of five (5) credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.
• Attain a good mark in UTME in relevant subjects.
• To be eligible for direct entry admission into the 200 level, candidates must, in addition to obtaining five (5) credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two (2) sittings, also fulfill one of the following criteria:
• Hold a General Certificate of Education with a pass at ‘A’ level in a minimum of two subjects chosen from a list approved by the Senate.
• Have a credit-level pass in an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or a Merit pass in a National Certificate in Education (NCE) from an approved College or Polytechnic.
• Hold a first degree or a Higher National Diploma (HND) from an approved University or Polytechnic.
• All candidates must undergo post-UTME screening and must meet the specific requirements of the College/Department they are seeking admission into. The departmental requirements for each program can be found under the Departmental Requirement Section.
• Interested candidates who scored 140 and above in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are welcome to apply.

Please note that candidates who did not initially choose Dominican University Ibadan as their choice institution for the 2023 UTME but are now interested in studying at the University are encouraged to apply.
