Embassy of France in Nigeria Scholarship 2025/2026; The Embassy of France in Nigeria has introduced a scholarship programme for the 2025/2026 academic year, aimed at supporting Nigerian students pursuing a master’s degree in Management at French universities.
Overview of the Scholarship
Funded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the French Ministry for Higher Education and Research, this scholarship covers:
- Two academic years for students starting in the first year of a master’s programme (M1)
- One academic year for students entering directly into the second year (M2)
Applicants must enroll in public universities with tuition fees not exceeding €4,000 per year.

Recipients will receive:
- Transportation costs
- A monthly allowance

Note: Tuition and registration fees are not covered and must be paid by the recipient.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be Nigerian citizens residing in Nigeria
- Be under 30 years old
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Management
- Have completed National Service
- Hold a First Class or Second Class Upper degree (priority consideration)
- Be prepared to begin studies in France by September or October 2025
- Note that French language proficiency is not required

Applicants should upload the following on the Etudes en France platform:
- A valid international passport (minimum two years’ validity)
- A detailed CV
- A personal statement
- Bachelor’s certificate or equivalent
- Undergraduate transcript (in one or two documents)
- NYSC certificate
- A recommendation letter from your university (optional but recommended)

- 1 December 2024: Application deadline on Etudes en France platform
- 8 January 2025: Campus France academic interviews begin (Lagos and Abuja)
- 25 February 2025: Deadline for Campus France interview payment
- 15 March 2025: Deadline for Campus France interviews
- April 2025: Applications sent to institutions
- 30 April 2025: Institutional decision deadline
- 1 May 2025: Deadline for students to confirm institution choice
- May to June 2025: Scholarship recipient interviews
- July 2025: Visa application process begins
- September/October 2025: Start of the academic year in France
Application Process
- Create an account on the Etudes en France platform.
- Upload all required documents.
- Apply to seven different universities or Institutes of Administration and Enterprises (IAE).
- Watch the Etudes en France tutorial if needed.
Only applications meeting the guidelines will be considered.
