ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

PRE-NCE

The One-Year Pre-NCE program is an intensive course designed to prepare students with four credits’ entry qualifications for transfer into the Full-Time NCE Program. To be eligible for transfer into NCE I, Pre-NCE students must write and score 100 or above in UTME.

NIGERIA CERTIFICATE IN EDUCATION (NCE)

Candidates must possess SSCE/WAEC/NECO/GCE NABTEB TC II results with five credits, including Mathematics and English Language, obtained in not more than two sittings. Two of these credits must be in the subject area of interest.

PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN EDUCATION (PDE)

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. A University Degree/Higher National Diploma (HND)/Professional Qualification in a relevant field.
2. NYSC Discharge Certificate/Exemption Certificate.
3. All original copies of credentials.

DEGREE

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. JAMB Original Result slip.
2. All original copies of credentials.
3. Two Passport Photographs with a Red Background.

APPLICATION METHODS

All interested candidates for Full-Time NCE Admission are required to pay a fee of ₦2,000.00 only. Candidates interested in NCE Part-Time Weekend Evening Programs & Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) should pay ₦4,000.00 only at the bank through the Bursary Office. After payment, candidates should visit the Admission office with the blue receipt to collect the application form.

NOTE: Once admitted, NCE Part-Time students must complete their registration at a JAMB registered CBT Center.

METHOD OF APPLICATION FOR DEGREE PROGRAM

Candidates interested in the Degree Program are required to pay a fee of ₦3,000.00 only at the bank through the Bursary Office. After payment, candidates should visit the Degree Unit with the blue receipt to collect the application form. Please be aware that accommodation is FREE for full-time students.

CLOSING DATE

Completed admission forms must be returned to the office of the Deputy Registrar (Admissions) at FCE(T) Asaba on or before the commencement of the 2023/24 Academic Session Matriculation.
