A Magistrates Court in Ilorin, Kwara State, has remanded a 25-year-old bricklayer, Ibrahim Ismaila, in a custodial center for allegedly raping a 15-year-old schoolgirl.
It was gathered that Ismaila stopped the girl while returning home from school and dragged her inside an uncompleted building, where he forcefully had sexual intercourse with her.
The accused was remanded on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, alongside his supervisor, Abdulrasheed Yusuf, who was charged with negligence.
The case was adjourned till February 21, 2023, for a hearing.
