Folarin Balogun Clutches First Goal In USA Vs Omen Match

Gregg Berhalter said the United States needed to do better than they did on Saturday against Uzbekistan.

Berhalter tried a new and special game plan, and it worked really well. The USMNT beat Oman 4-0, and they were much better than their Asian opponents.

Berhalter used Weston McKennie in a strange but clever way. He let him move around a lot and told him to make long passes to the right side of the field. These long passes confused Oman’s players, and they couldn’t deal with it.

Tim Weah was also great with the ball, working well with McKennie and helping Sergino Dest get into good attacking positions.

Folarin Balogun scored the first goal after 13 minutes, and they kept that 1-0 lead at halftime. In the second half, Brenden Aaronson and Ricardo Pepi scored more goals, and Kevin Paredes even set up a goal that Oman scored on themselves.

This game was very different from the boring one on Saturday against Uzbekistan. They had more creativity tonight, and it showed in their excellent performance.

Here’s what happened: The 22-year-old player scored his first goal during this match. It happened when Sergino Dest took a powerful shot from far away, and the goalkeeper could only push it away. The ball went right to the 22-year-old, and he tapped it into the net from very close range.
