Nigerian Man Plans to Marry His Mother-in-law.

After declaring his plan to wed his late wife’s mother, 57, the Nigerian man became embroiled in a number of controversies.

The 46-year-old man lost his wife at the age of 34, leaving behind three children—two boys and a girl—according to well-known Nigerian blogger Azuka Onwuka, who posted the story on Twitter.

“After grieving for two years, he is ready to get married again, but he doesn’t want to wed someone from outside the family who might treat his kids badly.” He stated

However, the proposal has sparked conflicting responses within their extended families, with some members endorsing the concept and others rejecting it.

“A man (name withheld) lost his wife after they had three children (two boys and a girl). At the age of 34, his wife passed away. He intends to wed his mother-in-law, a 57-year-old widow, two years later. He’s 46 years old. He claims he does not need any more kids and does not want to wed a stranger who might reject and mistreat his offspring. Some members of their two extended families are in favour of the concept, however many are opposed. Is this appropriate? Tweets were made by Onwuka.
