The authorities of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, have taken note of a viral video depicting an alleged assault by a lecturer on a part-two student. In response to this incident, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adebayo Simeon Bamire, has ordered the immediate establishment of a fact-finding committee to investigate the circumstances surrounding the unfortunate occurrence.
