The West African Examination Council is the examination body that regulates the assessment of senior secondary students before they finally move into the tertiary institution. 2. Marist Brothers’ Juniorate, Uturu
On 1981, another citadel of learning was opened in Uturu by the Marist Brothers. Since then the Brothers have been running the school efficiently and effectively. The two most cherished aim of the school is to strengthen academic knowledge and to also inculcate good morals into their student in in order for them to behave well in life. In the school, are teachers with strong moral and educational minds. Also, the participation between the teacher and the students actually adds more to the standard of the school.

3. Lumen Christi International High School, Uromi
In 1986, a catholic school named Lumen Christi International High School was formed in Edo State by Rev, Dr. P.E. Ekpu. On several occasions has the school been honored. One of such is winning the fourth (4th) Position as the best secondary school in the Western part of Africa. This same award was still won by the school five years later in addition to winning the best overall WAEC result.

4. Grundtvig International Secondary School, Oba
Located in Oba, Anambra State is our 4th school with the best WAEC result in Nigeria. It is one of the boarding schools that have produced outstanding students in any examination. On several occasion, the citadel of learning has featured in many ranking which include the top ten performing schools in Nigeria based on the statistics presented by WAEC, Recently, in 2014, it was ranked number five in Nigeria.

5. Mea Mater Elizabeth High School, Agbani
Mea Mater High School was opened in September 2004 in the village of Ojiagu in Agbani, Enugu State. Since its creation, the school has been performing so well in any examination. In the 2015 WAEC Examination, out of the over 80,000 schools that participated in the examination, Mea Mater High School was ranked number 7, which actually explained the high educational standard of the school. Also, previously in 2011, the school was tagged among the best-performed schools in Africa. Also, it is among the best boarding schools in Nigeria that have produced outstanding students in any examination.

6. Christ the King College, Gwagwalada
With the sole aim of producing students that are knowledgeable, trustworthy, God Fearing, patriotic and responsible, Christ the King College was established as a Catholic mission in 1991 by the Late Dominic Cardinal Ekandem. And, looking at the success flow for the school since its creation, it has been fulfilling its aims.

7. The Lagoon Secondary School, Lekki
Located in Lagos State, is the all-girls citadel of learning that has been doing so great since the time it was created. Though it is a private school, the school aims at investing in Nigerian girls for the sole aim of developing society.
