In my opinion, I feel like the image is showing the cons of social media. As it portray the persons in the image. How the person in the foreground takes selfie in respective of the family in the background struggling to get the food in his hands.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>In my opinion,  I believe this is a visual representation of the negative effects of social media in our present day. The family behind the man taking a selfie in the image are obviously suffering and the man has appeared to have brought food for them, but at what cost? He would rather take a picture of him posing to help the needy and  receive accolades for being a cheerful person whereas there’s nothing cheerful about what he’s doing. He has exploited the poor family all because of social validation.

In my opinion I feel that everything the rich do is for validation from the public the charity giving out to the poor is not genuine but rather for their selfish gains.
The image can also be portrayed as the societal norms where the poor is being oppressed by the rich.
We see luxurious houses built next to slums what does that say? And this same people come to give “charity” this image has deeper meaning than just art.
In my opinion! Thanks

I’ll tag this as Publicity over humanity;
As seen in the picture, the society has placed publicity and internet validation over humanity . The act of kindness has become contents to many , leading to the real reason behind giving being played down. The less privileged have become subjects/actors in every act of giving as they are being recorded- what choice do they have ?
