The government of Kwara has renamed the College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies.
The Kwara Government has renamed the College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies (CAILS), Ilorin, to the College of Arabic, Islamic, Legal, and Management Studies (CAILMS).
The change was conveyed in a statement issued by AbdulLateef Yahaya, the Deputy Registrar (Information), of the college on Wednesday, August 31st, in Ilorin.
According to the statement, the school was renamed to broaden the scope of the institution’s courses and to improve its mission for the benefit of the entire state’s people.
Yahaya also revealed that the government has promised to pay N26 million to complete the accreditation of degree courses at the college as soon as possible.
