Aspiring candidates can now apply for the FUNAAB Pre-Degree Programme and prepare for various degree programs at the university. This one-year full-time pre-matriculation Science program is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills for their tertiary education journey.

FUNAAB Pre-Degree Programme Details

The FUNAAB Pre-Degree Programme entails the study of English Language and Mathematics along with three other subjects: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The courses are taught over two semesters by highly qualified tutors, and students are evaluated through Continuous Assessment Tests (CAT) during the semesters and main examinations at the end of each semester.

The program includes comprehensive coaching with lectures, tutorials, and laboratory practicals. Additionally, the institute conducts JAMB/UTME tutorials, which are mandatory for Pre-Degree students seeking admission into the university’s degree programs.

This preparation has proven highly successful, with a substantial percentage of Pre-Degree students passing JAMB/UTME and the Post UTME to gain admission into the University.

To qualify for placement into the degree programmes at FUNAAB, each Pre-Degree student is expected to achieve an aggregate score of 50% and above at the end of the session, along with a minimum score (as determined by the university) in UTME and post UTME.
