FUNAI Releases 2023/2024 Admission Into JUPEB & Pre-degree Programs; The Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State (AE-FUNAI) invites applications from qualified candidates for admission into the non-resident JUPEB and Pre-Degree programs at the AE-FUNAI Centre for Educational Services (AE-FUNAI CES).

The Pre-Degree program aims to prepare candidates for admission into degree programs (excluding Medicine and Surgery) in all disciplines offered by the university. The JUPEB program is a 10-month intensive coaching program designed to prepare candidates for direct entry admission into the 200-level of their preferred departments in AE-FUNAI and over 75 affiliated universities in Nigeria and abroad through the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB).

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for the programs, candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credits in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) obtained in a maximum of two sittings. For candidates interested in studying Medicine and Surgery, the relevant credits must be earned in a single sitting.

DURATION:

The JUPEB program typically runs for two (2) semesters within approximately ten (10) calendar months. The Pre-Degree program also lasts for a similar duration.

PROGRAMS OFFERED:

The AE-FUNAI Centre for Educational Services (AE-FUNAI CES) will prepare candidates for admission into Bachelor’s degree programs offered in various faculties.

APPLICATION FEE:

The application fee is ten thousand Naira (N10,000.00) only.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

1. Visit the AE-FUNAI CES ePortal (www.ces.funai.edu.ng) and click on ePortal on the menu bar. Select “Start Online Application” and provide your email address and other required information to begin the online application process.
2. Create an account and log in with your Application No. and Password. Follow the instructions to enter your personal information and other required details.
3. Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR) for payment. Payment can be made with a Credit/Debit Card or at any Nigerian bank branch. After successful payment, continue the online application.
4. Ensure all sections of the application form are correctly filled, then click on “Complete Application” to submit your form. You will receive an email and SMS confirming receipt of your application. Print two colored copies of your Application Form.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

• Applicants are advised to visit the AE-FUNAI CES website for additional relevant information.
• A recent colored passport photograph with a white background must be provided. Selfies, blurred, or webcam photos are not allowed. Uploading incorrect bio-data and credentials will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the application fee.
• Applicants should report to the Centre for Educational Services for Registration and Screening only after receiving an invitation and approved Admission Letter from the Director. Use valid email addresses and personal telephone numbers.

• AE-FUNAI does not authorize any person or agent to sell application forms on its behalf. Application is strictly online through the AE-FUNAI CES ePortal.
