FUTA Releases 2023/2024 Post-UTME/DE Admission Form; The Federal University of Technology, Akure, is pleased to announce the commencement of online registration for the 2023/2024 Academic Session Post-UTME screening exercise, which is open to candidates seeking admission into ALL COURSES/PROGRAMMES.

The registration period begins on Monday, 11th September, and concludes on Friday, 6th October, 2023.
ELIGIBILITY:
To be eligible for this screening exercise, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Obtain a minimum score of 180 in the 2023 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
- Direct Entry (DE) candidates must have selected the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) as their First Choice Institution.
- Possess at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in O’ level examinations conducted by WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or their equivalent, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Candidates are required to follow these steps for application:
- Visit the University website at http://www.futa.edu.ng to access relevant information.
- Complete and submit the University Post-UTME Application Form online.
- Print a copy of the Registration Form for your records.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:
The Registration Form is mandatory for all eligible candidates and must be completed for participation in the screening exercise. It is crucial to provide accurate UTME Registration Numbers and Full names (as they appear on the JAMB slip) during payment and registration.
SCREENING FEE:
A screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (2,000.00) is payable at any bank on the Remita platform after generating the necessary code.
Candidates who do not complete their registration within the specified period will not be eligible for the screening.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Any UTME candidate who fails to undergo the screening will NOT be considered for admission to the University.
- Candidates must ensure that their O’ level results are uploaded on the JAMB CAPS and shared with FUTA on or before 6th October, 2023. Failure to do so will render the affected candidates ineligible for admission.
