Government Of Austria ITH Fully-Funded Masters Scholarships 2024/2025; Austria Government ITH Fully-funded Master’s Scholarships 2024/2025: Prospective students can pursue studies at ITH through personal means or avail themselves of scholarships provided by the Austrian Development Cooperation.

The Austrian Development Cooperation annually extends a limited number of scholarships, and it’s important to note that obtaining a scholarship is highly competitive and not guaranteed.

Location: The Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management in Salzburg Klessheim, Austria.

About Austria Government ITH Fully-funded Master’s Scholarships: The Austrian Development Cooperation, in collaboration with the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, provides approximately 30 scholarships to candidates from priority countries and other developing nations.

The Tourism School in Salzburg boasts an excellent international reputation, emphasizing training for future entrepreneurs and professionals tailored to the needs of the global tourism and leisure industry.

Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for the Austria Government ITH Fully-funded Master’s Scholarships at ITH, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Age between 18 – 35 years
  • Possess a secondary school leaving certificate (high school diploma)
  • Have a minimum of one year’s experience in the tourism and hospitality industry
  • Non-native English speakers require an English qualification (e.g., TOEFL, Cambridge 1st Certificate, IELTS, or equivalent)
  • Successful candidates should demonstrate ambition, and open-mindedness, and possess good organizational and time management skills

Number of Awardees: Up to 30

Value of Scholarships: Scholarships for Priority countries include:

  • Tuition fees
  • Accommodation
  • Flight tickets (from home country to Salzburg and back)
  • Health insurance
  • Food from Monday to Sunday
  • Excursions (excluding the field trip to ITB Berlin)
  • €205 pocket money per month

Not included in this scholarship are:

  • Transfer from the Airport to the hostel and back
  • Visa fee (applicants need to cover the visa fees, approximately $110 for entry visa and €120 for the 8-month residence permit)

Scholarships for Developing countries include:

  • Tuition fees
  • Health insurance
  • Food from Monday to Friday
  • Excursions (excluding the field trip to ITB Berlin)
  • €205 pocket money per month

Not included in the Scholarship are:

  • Accommodation costs (covered by students, amounting to €247 per month or €1976 in total, to be remitted in advance)
  • Flight ticket expenses
  • Visa fee (applicants need to cover the visa fees, approximately $110 for entry visa and €120 for the 8-month residence permit)

How to Apply:

Interested students can attend ITH through private means or apply for scholarships provided by the Austrian Development Cooperation. The application process involves:

  1. Obtain information about ITH from an Austrian consulate or embassy.
  2. Download the ITH application form from the provided link or obtain it from Austrian embassies and consulates.
  3. Submit the completed application form directly to the Institute via post.
  4. The submission deadline is March 31, 2024, and all applications must be received by the ITH office by this date.
  5. Applicants will receive a confirmation email upon successful receipt of their application.
  6. Results of the application will be communicated in May 2024, and successful scholarship recipients will receive a letter of acceptance.
