JUPEB and IJMB are ‘A’ Level certificate programs that equip students with the necessary academic foundation to succeed at the university level. Upon successful completion, students can bypass the traditional 100 level and gain direct entry into the second year of their chosen undergraduate degree programs. Additionally, we offer remedial programs that allow candidates to gain direct entry into the first year of university and special education programs that guarantee entry into the second year.

Here are the available programs and subjects:

1. Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB):

• Courses include Medicine, Law, Vocational Courses, Humanities, Education, Engineering, Management Sciences, Natural and Applied Sciences, and Social Sciences.
• Examination subjects include Christian Religious Studies, French, History, Igbo, Music, Islamic Religious Studies, Literature-In-English, Visual Arts, Yoruba, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, Geography, Government, Agricultural Science, Mathematics, and Physics.

1. Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examinations (IJMB):

• Courses include Medicine, Law, Vocational Courses, Humanities, Education, Engineering, Management Sciences, Natural and Applied Sciences, and Social Sciences.
• Subjects offered are Accounting, Arabic, Biology, Business Management, Christian Religious Studies, Economics, Geography, Geology, Government, Hausa, History, Islamic Studies, Literature-In-English, Physics, Sociology, Advanced Level, Ordinary Level English Language, and Ordinary Level Mathematics. Candidates choose three subjects related to their courses of choice.

1. Remedial Programs:

• This program enables candidates to gain direct entry into the 100 level of the university.
• Subjects offered include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Integrated Science, Geography, Computer Sciences, Political Science, Business Studies, Accounting, Secretarial Studies, Social Studies, Economics, Fine Art, Agricultural Science, and Industrial Technology.

1. Special Education Programs:

• Programs offered include Education Management & Planning, Educational Foundations, Curriculum Studies, Educational Technology, Educational Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Human Kinetics, Health and Safety Education, Primary Education, Home Economics, and Library Information Science.

Admission Requirements:
Candidates must have a minimum of five credit passes in SSCE, NECO, and NABTEB obtained in not more than two sittings, including English and Mathematics.
