PART A: POST UTME SCREENING AND VALIDATION OF CREDENTIALS EXERCISE FOR THE NEWLY ACCREDITED PROGRAMMES

1.0 NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) FULL-TIME PROGRAMMES

• School of Agricultural Technology: Animal Health and Production Technology, Horticultural Technology.
• School of Communication and Information Technology: Multimedia Technology.
• School of Engineering: Autobody Engineering Technology, Cement Engineering Technology, Metallurgical Engineering Technology, Renewable Engineering Technology.
• School of Environmental Studies: Printing Technology.
• School of Management Studies: Marine Transport and Business Management, Crime Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management.

2.1 ELIGIBILITY

• Candidates who chose The Federal Polytechnic Ilaro as their 1st choice and scored above 150 in the 2023 UTME.
• Candidates willing to change to Ilaro as their First Choice Institution.
• Applicants must follow the prescribed screening procedures.

2.2 METHOD OF APPLICATION

• Online application via www.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng starting January 2, 2024.
• Application processing fee: N2,000.

PART B: HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) FULL-TIME PROGRAMMES (NEWLY ACCREDITED PROGRAMMES)

3.0 HND FULL-TIME PROGRAMMES

• School of Communication and Information Technology: Office Technology and Management (Bilingual Option), Music Technology.
• School of Engineering: Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology (with various options), Mechatronics Engineering, Welding and Fabrication Engineering Technology.
• School of Environmental Studies: Transport Planning and Management Technology.

4.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit (CGPA not less than 2.50).
• Relevant SSSCE requirements.
• One-year post-ND relevant Industrial Experience.
• Submission of ND academic transcript for non-Ilaro ND graduates.
