In emphasizing the registration process, JAMB reiterates its directive that candidates visiting CBT centres for UTME registration must prominently display their profile codes and e-PINs.

These codes and e-PINs should be obtained through the Board’s USSD (55019 or 66019) on the mobile phones used to create their profile codes.

Failure to adhere to this requirement will result in non-registration. This directive aims to prevent identity mix-up, identity theft, and the mutilation of candidates’ details.

It also serves to deter unnecessary litigation arising from candidates providing information on pieces of paper and later claiming different details.

Underlining the seriousness of this directive, the board has taken decisive action by suspending the Total Child Computer and CBT Centre (TCCC), Abuja, from participating in the ongoing 2024 registration exercise.

This suspension is a consequence of TCCC’s violation of the specific directive, as they registered candidates using manually copied ePINs instead of the mandatory display of profile codes and vended e-PINs received on their phone screens.
