JAMB made this known via their official Twitter handle. For those who have registered and indicated their interest in taking the mock exam, please take note of the new date. You will be notified when to print your Mock-UTME notification slip, which contains details about your exam center and other important information.

Mock-UTME is an optional exam that JAMB introduced to give students hands-on experience with the system and to allow JAMB to determine its readiness. JAMB also announced that there would be groundbreaking innovations during this year’s UTME exam to address observed infractions and center failures.

Here are some of the innovations to expect:

  • If there is a delay of up to one hour before the start of a session, the session will be rescheduled.
  • No exam can start one hour after the scheduled time.
  • Candidates must be notified of their new scheduled session or center before leaving their center.
  • No candidate will be allowed to spend less than one hour before submitting their responses.
  • Candidates cannot log in after one hour of activating the exam.

If for any reason, an examination session is canceled or cannot hold, candidates should not panic. They will simply be scheduled for the next available session, which could be on the same day. Such candidates should quietly leave the hall and move to the Holding Area to await further instructions. Please note that any rescheduled exam is only meant for those whose session was canceled due to unforeseen circumstances and not for those who were marked late or absent for their session.

Stay informed and take note of these changes to avoid any confusion on the day of the exam. Good luck!
