James Hope University Releases 2023/2024 Post-UTME Admission Form

Admission Requirements:

To be considered for admission into James Hope University’s postgraduate programs, such as the JHU Business School MBA and MBA FLEX programs, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

1. Possess an undergraduate degree: Applicants are required to hold an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university, demonstrating a strong academic record.
2. Minimum credit passes: Candidates must have a minimum of five credit passes in WASC, SSCE/GCE, NECO, or their equivalent. These credit passes must include English and Mathematics.
3. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) graduates: Applicants who have completed postgraduate diploma (PGD) programs should possess a minimum of a first degree or HND (Merit Pass). They must also have at least a credit level pass in the relevant areas.
4. Good first degree: Graduates from recognized universities or other higher institutions should have a good first degree, preferably a second-class, lower division.
5. Transfer students: JHU Business School may consider registered students of higher degrees from other universities for transfer if they meet all the entry conditions for the MBA program.

Additional Requirements:

In addition to the admission requirements mentioned above, applicants must fulfill the following additional criteria:

1. Complete the online application: All applicants must complete the online application form provided on the James Hope University website.
2. Application fee: A non-refundable application fee is required. However, applicants attending an information session may qualify for a fee waiver.
3. Standardized test scores: Applicants are required to submit their GMAT/NMAT, essential skills assessment (ESA), or GRE scores. These scores should have an even distribution in the quantitative and verbal sections.
4. Official transcripts: Official transcripts from all previous academic institutions must be submitted. Unofficial transcripts can be initially provided with the application, but upon admission, official transcripts must be sent directly to JHU from the issuing institution.

7. Recommendation letters: Three professional recommendation letters are required to support the applicant’s application.

Selection Process:

Acceptance into the MBA and MBA Flex programs at James Hope University is not automatic.
