Program Duration:
The LAUTECH Pre-Degree Science Programme is scheduled to run for a duration of six (6) calendar months. Additionally, there will be a compulsory intensive three (3) months ICT (Information and Communication Technology) program.
Admission Requirements:
To be eligible for admission, applicants should possess a minimum of five O’ Level credit passes in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB, obtained in not more than two sittings.
The required subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Economics, Geography, Financial Accounting, Marketing, Commerce, Business Studies, Government, Literature in English, Civic Education, History, Yoruba, and CRS/IRS.
Applicants who have deficiencies in the listed subjects or are awaiting results can also apply, provided the result(s) will be available before the completion of the program.

Application Process:
Follow the steps below to complete your application for the LAUTECH Pre-Degree Science Programme:
- Visit apply.lautech.edu.ng and make a payment of ten thousand Naira (N10,000:00) for the Application Form and online registration using an Interswitch-enabled Debit (ATM) Card.
- Carefully fill in and submit the online Application Form. Note that incomplete forms will not be processed.
Closing Date:
The deadline for the submission of the Application Form is Friday, October 27, 2023. Ensure that you download and print the Registration Confirmation Slip, which should bear your passport photograph, as proof of successful submission of the form. Late completion/submission of the form will not be accepted.
Entrance Examination:
The entrance examination for successful applicants will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) held at designated venues. The exact venue and time will be indicated on the registration confirmation slips. The entrance examination will take place on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
Placement into Degree Programmes:
Placement into degree programs will be based on performance at the end of the Pre-Degree Science Programme, adherence to admission requirements, availability of vacancies in the desired degree program, and participation in the ICT Intensive Training. Additionally, all applicants must obtain the 2024 UTME Form, sit for the examination, and achieve the minimum cut-off mark set by the University Senate.
Information on Choice of Programme:
Candidates are required to select two (2) choices from the available undergraduate program options at LAUTECH, listed below. The program options are divided into Groups A and B, and each candidate can choose one program from each group. It is important not to select both choices from the same group.
