Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital Post Basic Nursing Form, 2024/2025

The Post Basic Nursing course is a two-semester specialized training designed to equip Registered Nurses (RN) with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for effective, safe, and evidence-based nursing practice.

Admission Requirements:

Applicants must:

  • Be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current practice license obtained from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
  • Have at least five (5) credit passes in basic science courses including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB O’Level Examinations. A combination of WAEC and NECO to meet the requirement is acceptable.
  • Have at least one (1) year post-qualification experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Have approval for release from their employer for the full-time requirement of the course.

Method of Application:

Forms are obtainable at the office of the various program coordinators, Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, Yola, starting from 3rd June, 2024, upon presentation of a payment receipt of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) only into the Hospital’s Treasury Single Account via REMITA in respect of Nursing Specialty Training.

Closing Date:

  • Sales and submission of admission forms close on Tuesday, 16th July, 2024.
  • Aptitude test will be held on 17th July, 2024.
  • Oral interviews will be conducted on the 18th and 19th of July, 2024.
