National Orthopedic Hospital Enugu releases admission forms for 2023/2024

a. General Nursing program
b. Basic Midwifery program
c. Orthopaedic Nursing program
d. Burns and Plastic Nursing Program

Entry Requirements for General Nursing and Basic Midwifery Programs:

1. Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
2. Candidates must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent (SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, GCE) with a minimum of five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in not more than two sittings.
3. Birth Certificate/declaration of age (Not Baptism Card)
4. Testimonial from the last school attended.
5. Marriage Certificate (if married)
6. Original/photocopies of all relevant documents will be sighted during the interview
7. Three (3) recent passport photographs
8. Mode of identification (NIN, PVC, Driver’s License, International Passport).

Entry Requirements for Post Basic Programs:

Post Basic Candidates should submit their basic Nursing Certificates/Licenses in addition to the above requirements.

Method of Application:

1. The sale of form commences from October 2, 2023, at the College of Nursing Complex, NOH, Enugu.
2. Admission Form/examination fee of ₦16,500.00 should be paid into National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu TSA account via Remita.
3. Generation of RRR can be done at the office of the College Bursar or generated online via http://www.remitta.net by following the directives – Pay TSA & State – FGN – National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu – POS collection. Indicate “College of Nursing Science Form” as description.
4. Visit the School with the evidence of payment and collect the application form from the registrar (office is open Monday to Friday, 8 am-4 pm).
5. Application forms can also be completed online via http://www.consnohe.org.ng.
6. Completed forms should be returned to the College on or before October 30, 2023.
7. The subjects for the entrance examination include: Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
8. Details of the examination and interview will be communicated upon the return of completed forms.

Date of Examination/Interview:

1st – 7th November 2023.
Time: 9.00 am daily.

Note:
Candidates are to bring along the original receipt of payment and all relevant documents. Candidates for the Post Basic Nursing are to bring along their practicing Licenses. Only candidates who possess entry requirements and pass the Entrance Examination will be eligible for the interview.
