NDA Announces 75th Regular Course Admission Form For 2023/2024; To the entire public, we wish to announce the commencement of the online application process for admission into the 76th Regular Course of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), located in Kaduna.

This application window will be open from Monday, October 30, 2023, until April 30, 2024. It is important to note that admission into NDA is available to both male and female Nigerian citizens.

Application Procedure:

Candidates should follow these steps for application:

  1. Visit the application portal: NDA Application Portal.
  2. Choose “Purchase Access Code” and complete your details to make the application payment via REMITA. Ensure that you obtain your ORDER ID and REMITA Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code. The application fee is ₦43,500.00.
  3. Please be aware that only payments made against RRR Codes generated through the application portal will be accepted.

Interested candidates should complete their applications online by visiting the aforementioned website. It is crucial to download and meticulously read the provided instructions on the website.

JAMB Application Requirement:
Applicants seeking admission into NDA must also apply to the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) for the year 2024. NDA should be selected as the first-choice institution. These applicants are required to sit for the JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).

Submission of Applications:
Candidates must submit their application forms along with scanned SSCE results online. After completing the online application, candidates should download an Acknowledgement Form.

Admission Requirements:
The requirements for various undergraduate degree programs can be found on the NDA website and applications portal. All additional information regarding degree courses, eligibility, and screening test centers is available on the NDA website. Please take note that having a working knowledge of French or Arabic will be advantageous for applicants.

Screening Test Conditions:
Only candidates who meet the admission requirements and have a UTME score of 180 for Arts & Social Sciences and Science or 210 for Engineering courses will be eligible to print the Screening Test Admission Card and participate in the NDA Screening Test at their chosen center.

Screening Test Date and Requirements:
The screening test, which is phase one of the Post-UTME screening, is tentatively scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 25, 2024. All eligible candidates must bring their Acknowledgment Form, Screening Test Admission Card, JAMB result slip, and two (2) postcard-sized (3.5 x 5 inches) photographs to the Screening Test Center.

These photographs should display only the candidate’s upper body and must include the candidate’s Name, Exam number, State, Exam Center, Course of study, and Signature at the back. Only successful candidates in the NDA Screening Test will be subsequently invited for the Armed Forces Selection Board, which constitutes phase 2 of the screening test. The list of admitted candidates will be published after this.

Nature and Duration of Training:
Candidates admitted into NDA for the Regular Course will undergo both military and academic training as Officer Cadets for a duration of 5 years. Upon successful completion of training, graduates will earn an honors degree in their core discipline (BSc, BEng, BA) and a Presidential Commission into the Armed Forces of Nigeria.

Administration:
The Federal Government of Nigeria will bear the cost of administration and logistics for all Regular Course cadets during their training at NDA.
