NSUK VC commissions Faculty of Administration

NSUK VC commissions Faculty of Administration; Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, urged the Faculty members to foster innovative ideas that will contribute to the University’s positive development. This charge was given during the commissioning ceremony of the Professorial building constructed by the Faculty of Administration on July 19, 2023.

Congratulating the Faculty of Administration on their groundbreaking initiative, Professor Suleiman commended the Deanery for fostering a cooperative and synergistic environment among the staff and students, which enabled the successful construction of the impressive edifice.

The Vice-Chancellor also acknowledged the pivotal role played by his predecessor, Professor Muhammad Akaro Mainoma, in creating an enabling atmosphere for the generation of developmental ideas, which culminated in the construction of the commissioned building.

He encouraged other Faculties to follow the lead of the Faculty of Administration and come forth with projects and ideas that would not only benefit their own departments but also elevate the entire University.

During the event, Professor Suleiman expressed his gratitude to the Faculty for their continuous support, which has been instrumental in the modest achievements made during his administration.

He further commended the efforts of Professor Barnabas Barde, the Dean of the Faculty of Administration, for successfully completing the project initiated by his predecessor, Professor Hassan Ibrahim. The Vice-Chancellor also praised other faculty members for their contributions and the spirit of collaboration exhibited throughout the project.

In their respective speeches, both the former Vice-Chancellor of NSUK, Professor Muhammad Akaro Mainoma, and the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Prime University Abuja, along with Professor Barnabas Barde, lauded the former Deans of the Faculty, who were the driving force behind the project.

They also acknowledged the students of all levels and departments within the Faculty of Administration for pooling resources together to fund the construction of the magnificent edifice.

The occasion was highlighted by the official commissioning of the new building and a guided tour led by the Vice-Chancellor and other esteemed dignitaries in attendance.
