The policy will be implemented beginning with the 2022 Batch “C” Orientation Course, according to Eddy Megwa, the scheme’s director of press and public relations, who made the announcement in a statement released on Tuesday, November 1.

The evaluation, according to the statement, was necessary to guarantee the safety of corps members due to the physically demanding nature of several of the orientation program’s activities.

He said that in the past, Corps Members needed to submit a Certificate of Fitness from a recognized public health facility in order for Camp Officials to control individuals who are not fit to participate in specific activities in the Camp. However, it was later found that the majority of the provided certificates were fraudulent and faked.

“Prospective Corps Members should record this information for compliance,” the Scheme said.
