Financial Aid Opportunities at PAU for the 2024/2025 Academic Session

As part of our commitment to your educational journey, PAU offers various financial aid options:

PAU Scholarship for Undergraduate Programmes

• Tuition Fee Aid/Scholarship

Scholarship Application Period:

• The application period for the 2024/2025 academic session is from June 5, 2024, to August 5, 2024.

Scholarship Details:

• Tuition fee aid/scholarships will be offered to 15% of our students.
  • 5% of students will receive virtually full scholarships.
  • 10% of students will receive partial scholarships.

Eligibility:

• Candidates must demonstrate high academic achievement before and during their course of study.
• Candidates must show a need for financial assistance.

Steps for Scholarship Application:

1. Apply Online:

2. Submit Supporting Documents:
   • Scan and email copies of the following documents to academicprogrammes@wpdev.pau.edu.ng:
     • Letter of Employment (for both parents, if applicable)
     • Three months’ salary slips (both parents, if applicable)
     • Three months’ bank statements of business accounts (both parents, if applicable)
     • Recommendation letter providing evidence and proof of lack of meaningful income (if not employed or in any business)
     • Additional documents as required
3. Ensure Requirements are Met:
   • Candidates should verify they meet all requirements before submission.

Financial Assistance for Siblings

For siblings concurrently enrolled at PAU, the following tuition discount rates apply:

• 1st Child: Full tuition fee
• 2nd Child: 10% discount on full tuition fee
• 3rd Child: 50% discount on full tuition fee
• 4th Child: 98% discount on full tuition fee

Work-Study Programme

Students on scholarships and others who wish to can receive additional financial aid by participating in the work-study programme. Students work various jobs at the university and are compensated for the hours worked, up to a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Other Financial Options

In addition to need-based scholarships, PAU offers:

• Parent Payment Plan: Flexible payment options for parents.
• Pre-pay Tuition Fees: Option to pre-pay tuition fees (subject to future increases by the university).
