Admission Requirements:
To be eligible for admission into the ND and HND programmes at Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic, candidates must meet the following requirements:
National Diploma (ND):
- Possession of five (5) Credit passes in GCE ‘O’ Level, SSCE, WAEC, NECO, NTC, NABTEB, or its equivalent at not more than two sittings.
- The Credit passes must include English Language and Mathematics.
- Candidates must also have three (3) relevant subjects to the area or discipline of choice.
Higher National Diploma (HND):
- Possession of a National Diploma in the relevant discipline with a minimum of Lower Credit from Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic or any recognized Polytechnic.
- Evidence of one year post National Diploma (ND) relevant Industrial Works Experience Scheme (SIWES).
- Satisfaction of all admission requirements for the relevant ND programme in the chosen department.
- Applicants from other Polytechnics must ensure that their academic transcripts are forwarded to the Registrar, Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic.
