DURATION OF PROGRAMME AND MODE OF STUDY:
The course lasts for two semesters (one academic session). The Rivers State University in Port Harcourt only offers in-person instruction.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of five “O Level Credits at one or two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, and three other pertinent Science subjects are required of applicants for admission into the Pre-degree Program in the SSCE/GCE administered by WAEC and NECO. One sitting of five O’ Level credits is required of applicants for basic medicine. Accepted candidates are required to enroll, take the JAMB/UTME in 2022 or 2023 with the appropriate subject combinations for any program, and meet the minimum UTME cut-off point for Rivers State University.

METHOD OF ADMISSION
Candidates are to visit the Rivers State University website, www.ust.edu.ng and follow the 2022/2023 Pre-degree Programme Application link. Application Form to be completed online (with candidate’s phone number) after payment of application fee of N15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Naira) only.
The application is open from Wednesday, September 14, until Friday, January 14, 2023. Candidates should arrive at the ICTC premises, RSU, Port Harcourt, on Monday, October 3, 2022, with photocopies of the application download for clearance and registration. During clearance and registration, applicants will be required to bring their SSCE/GCE/NECO certificates/result slips.
