Tansian University gets accreditation for Nursing programme; Tansian University has once again demonstrated its commitment to quality education and academic excellence. The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) has granted accreditation to the university’s Department of Nursing Science.

This significant achievement was announced by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Eugene Okoye Nwadialor, during the Pre-Convocation Press Conference at the University’s Podium, marking the ongoing 7th – 12th Combined Convocation Ceremony of Tansian University on May 14, 2024.

A few weeks ago, NMCN visited Tansian University to assess the professional accreditation of the Nursing Science programme. Today, I am pleased to inform you that the accreditation process was highly successful.

Tansian University Gets Accreditation for Nursing Programme

Achieving accreditation from the Nursing and Midwifery Council means that Tansian University’s nursing program meets the council’s rigorous standards for curriculum, staff qualifications, facilities, and student outcomes. This accreditation confirms that the university’s nursing education meets or exceeds the requirements necessary to produce competent and skilled nurses who can work both within and outside Nigeria.

It also signifies the university’s commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to best practices in nursing education. This recognition enhances the reputation of both the university and its nursing graduates, increasing their employability and professional opportunities. It stands as a testament to the quality and dedication of Tansian University’s nursing program.

This achievement was made possible by the unwavering commitment and dedication of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Eugene Okoye Nwadialor, and the resilience and selfless service of the Head of Department, Dr. Henrietta Okedo, along with other staff members.
