UI notice to underage applicants – 2024; It has come to our attention that some candidates for the 2023/2024 academic session will need to defer their admission due to age restrictions. This decision is based on the requirement that candidates must have reached the age of sixteen (16) years by the date of Matriculation, scheduled for 23 April, 2024.

Candidates falling into this category are required to formally request deferment of admission to the 2024/2025 academic session by writing to the Admissions Office (Undergraduate). Along with the request, candidates must attach evidence of payment of the Acceptance Fee.

Please be aware that deferment of admission is permitted for only one academic session. Additionally, eligibility for resumption is contingent upon the candidate reaching the age of sixteen (16) years before the Matriculation of the academic session.
