In order to be admitted, a candidate must:

Possess a bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Lagos or any accredited university in any discipline, together with a minimum of two years of post-qualification work experience.

Meet all additional requirements outlined in the University of Lagos’ School of Postgraduate Studies rules.

A DAAD SDG graduate school program called the Masters in Urban Management has been launched at the WITS-TUB-UNILAG Urban Lab. A tripartite partnership between WITS, TUB, and UNILAG aims to improve the capacity of higher education in urban planning and management in Africa.

Students who complete the program will have theoretical, practical, and technical knowledge of how cities operate, their infrastructure, and their governance and management. Students will be given the necessary critical thinking abilities to function in complex organizations, as well as the relevant analytical skills to comprehend and address local, national, and international issues that have an impact on urban communities.

The part-time program will last four semesters and include in-person and online learning.
