UNILORIN Announces Resumption Date For New Students; The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, who is a renowned legal expert, recently visited UNILORIN FM 89.3, the official radio station of the University.

During his visit, he assured parents and stakeholders that all newly admitted students would begin their academic programs in October this year.

Prof. Egbewole explained that the admission process is nearly complete, with many successful candidates already paying their clearance fees to secure their admission.

While he didn’t mention the exact number of candidates admitted, he emphasized that the University of Ilorin continues to be a highly sought-after institution in Nigeria, as evidenced by the large number of applications received.

He congratulated the successful candidates and encouraged them to uphold good behavior, follow the University’s rules, and represent their homes and families well.

As a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), he also urged both staff and students to continue supporting the administration’s vision of elevating the university’s status to be among the top universities in Nigeria, one of the best ten in Africa, and among the top 500 globally.
