UNIMAID Releases 2023/2024 Post-UTME/DE Admission Form; Notice of Post UTME/DE Screening Exercise at the University of Maiduguri (Unimaid) for the 2023/2024 academic session:
GAIN ADMISSION INTO ANY NIGERIAN UNIVERSITY WITHOUT JAMB – REGISTER FOR IJMB TODAY
We would like to inform all candidates who have applied for admission to the University of Maiduguri (Unimaid) for the 2023/2024 academic session that the Post UTME/DE (PUTME) Screening Exercise is scheduled to take place from Monday, 18th September, 2023, to midnight on Sunday, 22nd October 2023.

To participate in this screening exercise, candidates are advised to visit the website putme.unimaid.edu.ng for comprehensive details on the registration procedure, requirements for the screening exercise, payment process, and other pertinent information. A non-refundable fee of TWO THOUSAND NAIRA (N2,000) ONLY should be paid through the REMITA PLATFORM.
ELIGIBILITY
i. The screening exercise is open to UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who selected the University of Maiduguri as their first choice during the 2023 JAMB registration.
ii. UTME candidates must have obtained a minimum score of 140, except for courses for which higher cut-off marks have been specified on the university’s website.
iii. Candidates must meet the minimum UTME scores for their chosen courses and possess the appropriate UTME subject combinations as specified in the 2023 JAMB Brochure.
iv. Candidates who do not meet any of the above requirements will be allowed to change to another course for which they meet the criteria.
v. All candidates must have at least five O’ Level credits in subjects relevant to their intended courses, including Mathematics and English Language, achieved in not more than two sittings. Direct Entry candidates should have a minimum of Lower Credit at National and/or Higher National Diploma Level(s) or a Merit grade at NCE Level.
vi. Only O’ Level result print-outs downloaded directly from the websites of the national examining bodies (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) or photocopies of the original certificates will be accepted during verification.
CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO ENSURE THAT THEIR O’ LEVEL RESULTS ARE UPLOADED ON THE JAMB CAPS PROFILE WEBSITE.
