UNIPORT Releases 2023/2024 Post-UTME Screening Form; The University of Port Harcourt invites candidates who selected the University as their First Choice in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum score of 150 to apply for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
Important Dates and Registration Procedure:
- Online Registration Date: Monday, 3rd July, 2023 to 14th, August, 2023.
- Candidates should visit the University website at www.uniport.edu.ng for the registration procedure.
- Eligible candidates are to enter their UTME Registration Number and confirm their pre-loaded UTME details.
- Generate a Remita Code for payment using Master, Visa, Verve Card, or other accepted payment methods. Alternatively, print the Payment Slip and make a payment of N2,000.00 at designated banks (ACCESS BANK PLC, ECOBANK PLC, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC, FCMB, UBA PLC, AND UNIPORT-CHOBA MICROFINANCE BANK).
- Obtain a Remita Receipt with an Access Code from the Bank Teller as proof of payment.
- Log in online again using the UTME Registration Number and Access Code on the payment slip from Monday, 3rd July, 2023.
- Complete the online Form as requested, indicating if awaiting O’Level Result(s).
- Click on the “submit” button and print the Registration Slip for the Screening Exercise.
Screening Exercise Schedule:
- Details and schedule for the Screening Exercise will be announced in due course. Candidates should regularly check the University website for updates.
Important Notes:
- Inconsistencies in name or picture on the Registration Slip will lead to disqualification. Candidates’ names on their O’Level Certificates, UTME Results, and other registration documents must match.
- Candidates must be sixteen (16) years of age or older by October 2023 to be eligible for the exercise.
- Mobile phones, iPads, iPods, Walkmans, and similar devices, as well as any extraneous materials, are prohibited at the Screening Venue and its surroundings.
- Candidates must complete their registration within the specified period, as the online link for the Application Form will be disabled at MIDNIGHT ON MONDAY, 31ST JULY, 2023.
- Registration is conducted online, and candidates are not required to be physically present on the University Campus. They can register from any location.
- Candidates who selected the University as their second choice but wish to be considered for admission must change their First Choice to the University of Port Harcourt.
- O’Level results must be uploaded to the JAMB website promptly, as candidates without uploaded results will not be considered for admission.
- Candidates must register using their valid personal telephone (GSM) numbers and email addresses.
- When the Screening Exercise is scheduled, candidates must report to the designated Screening Venues as instructed or risk disqualification.
- Parents, guardians, and uninvited security agents will not be allowed on the campus during the Screening Exercise.
