UNIPORT Releases 2023/2024 Admission Into Environmental Engineering Technology Postgraduate Programmes

The Environmental Engineering Technology postgraduate programs offer the following courses for the 2023/2024 academic session:
- Masters in Environmental Engineering Technology (MEET)
- Degree Awarded: M.Eng. in Environmental Engineering Technology
- Degree Awarded: M.Sc. in Environmental Technology
- PhD in Environmental Engineering Technology
- Degree Awarded: PhD in Environmental Engineering Technology
- Degree Awarded: PhD in Environmental Technology
Eligibility Requirements:
Masters:
Candidates applying for the Masters programs must meet the following requirements:
1(a) At least a Second-Class Lower in any Engineering discipline.
1(b) At least a Second-Class Lower in any Science discipline.
Applicants must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
PhD:
Candidates applying for the PhD programs must meet the following requirements:
2(a) Completed Masters’s in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Engineering Technology with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.50.
2(b) Completed Masters’s in Environmental Technology or its equivalent (e.g., Environmental Science) with a minimum CGPA of 3.50.
Structure of the Programme:
The Environmental Engineering Technology programmes consist of a combination of taught courses, industrial attachment, and research. Courses are delivered by experienced academics and industry experts.
Some of the taught courses include Logistics, Waste Water Engineering and Design, Solid and Hazardous Waste Management and Control, Air Quality, Modeling and Climate Change, Water and Land Pollution, Treatment and Control, Entrepreneurship and Management, Environmental Pollution, Noise and Vibration, and more.
