About The Scholarship:

The University of Kent Burnett Scholarship 2024 is designed to support African students pursuing a degree in the United Kingdom. This scholarship specifically targets applicants from Africa’s KAZA region interested in the DICE Masters course.

The University of Kent is offering up to six scholarships for the academic year 2024 and the subsequent two years, generously funded by the Notsew Orm Sands Foundation. Successful applicants will receive full funding for the taught Master’s course in Conservation Science.

Scholarship Benefits:

The University of Kent Burnett Scholarship 2024 Program covers the following:

  • Full tuition fees
  • Monthly stipend
  • Travel expenses

Note: This scholarship is for the Taught Master’s course offered at DICE in Conservation Science, commencing in September 2024.

Eligibility Requirements:

To qualify for the University of Kent Burnett Scholarship 2024 Program, applicants must:

  • Be nationals of, or have official refugee status in, Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, or Zimbabwe.
  • Have at least two years of work experience in the conservation sector.
  • Hold a good undergraduate degree, with a minimum of a UK 2:1 or equivalent.
  • Meet the UK Visas and Immigration specifications and University of Kent English language requirements.
