2. Entry Requirements

2.1 General Entry Requirements

i) Applicants must possess five (5) O Level credits in S.S.C.E/NECO/WASC or their equivalent, including Mathematics and English Language.

ii) A valid NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate is required.

2.2 Professional Masters

In addition to the requirements in 2.1, candidates seeking admission into professional masters programs should meet the following criteria:

i) Hold a University degree in a relevant field with at least a second-class lower division.

ii) Hold a third-class degree along with a postgraduate diploma in the relevant area.

2.3 Postgraduate Diplomas

In addition to the requirements in 2.1, candidates seeking admission into postgraduate diploma programs should meet the following criteria:

i) Possess a University degree of at least second-class lower division in a field different from that of the postgraduate diploma they are applying for.

ii) Hold a third-class degree in the relevant area.

3. Application Procedure

Interested candidates/applicants should follow these steps to obtain and submit their application forms:

i) Make a non-refundable payment of fifteen thousand naira (N15,000) only into the UMBS account at Unimaid Microfinance Bank with the following details:

• Account Name: University of Maiduguri Business School
• Account No.: 1100037923

ii) Present the payment teller or evidence of payment at the Finance office of UMBS to receive a payment receipt.

iii) Present the payment receipt to the Student Affairs Registrar (SAR) at UMBS to collect the application form.

iv) Submit the duly completed application form along with copies of the required documents to the SAR at UMBS.

All completed application forms must be submitted on or before November 15, 2023.
