UNIZIK Releases 2023/2024 Post-UTME/DE Admission Form; Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has officially announced the schedule for its 2023/2024 POST-UTME and DIRECT ENTRY screening exercise.

This invitation is extended to candidates who selected the University as their first choice in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE), including all Nnamdi Azikiwe University Affiliate Institutions.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Candidates who have chosen Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, or its affiliate institutions as their first choice, and have met the required cut-off marks, are eligible for application.
  2. Those who did not initially choose NAU as their first choice but have obtained the eligible cutoff marks for their preferred faculty/programme, can also apply, provided they initiate a change of institution through the JAMB website.
  3. Direct Entry candidates must possess qualifications such as OND/HND/First Degree or A’Level certificates in relevant disciplines and subjects.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

The registration process follows these steps:

a. Registration begins on Thursday, 10th August, 2023, and closes on Saturday, 30th September, 2023.

b. Change of course or institution into Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (and its affiliate institutions) concludes on Saturday, 16th September, 2023. Any changes made beyond this date will be void.

c. Compulsory upload of O’level results (and A’level results for DE candidates) on JAMB Caps ends on Saturday, 16th September, 2023.

d. Visit http://apply.unizik.edu.ng

- Create a UNIZIK application account using your email, phone number, and password.
- Validate your account using the code sent to your email/phone number.
- Log in with your credentials.
- Click on the 2023 Post-UTME application.
- Link your JAMB registration profile to your account.
- Proceed to pay the sum of N2000 online or print the invoice and pay N2000 at the bank.
- Provide your date of birth, next of kin information, and O'Level results.
- Submit your application form.
- An acknowledgment email will be sent confirming receipt of your application.

FOR DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES

In addition to the above steps, DE candidates must:

a. Ensure their academic transcript is sent to the Registrar, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
b. Provide hard copies of their JAMB E-slip, O’Level results, OND/HND/First Degree or A’Level results to the Deputy Registrar (Admissions) by Saturday, 16th September, 2023.

TIME & REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

a. Stay updated via personal phone/email, UNIZIK’s website, and post details of the UTME/DE screening exercise.

b. Only candidates who have registered online will be considered for the screening exercise.

c. Ensure your O’level and A’level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS for admission consideration.

CAUTION:

a. Use the correct JAMB registration number for payments at the bank; the University won’t be responsible for any erroneous payments.

b. Be cautious of any payments made elsewhere that do not align with the University’s directives.
