WAEC GCE 2022 – Second Series Results Are Out (Details Here)

Release of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates WAEC GCE, 2022- Second Series results have been announced by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), Nigeria.

Seventy-seven thousand, seven hundred and sixty-eight (70.768) individuals were said to have registered for the test, and seventy-three thousand, four hundred and twenty-four (73,424) of those candidates took the test at six hundred and thirty-eight (638) centers dispersed around the nation.

Thirty-Six Thousand, One Hundred and Forty-One (36,141) males and Thirty-Seven Thousand, Two Hundred and Eighty-Three (37,283) females out of the 73,424 candidates that took the exam, representing 49.22% and 50.78%, respectively.

One Hundred and forty-three (143) of the 73,424 candidates who took the exam were candidates with varied degrees of special needs. Of this total, forty-four (44) had vision impairments and sixteen (16) had hearing impairments.

Nine (9) people had physical disabilities, and nine (19) were albinos. The administration of the test made suitable provisions for each of these candidates.

Results for 72,265 candidates, or 98.42%, have been fully processed and made public. In contrast, some of the subjects for 1,159 candidates—representing 1.58% of the total—are still being processed as a result of applicant mistakes. To ensure that all the impacted candidates can receive their full results, however, efforts are being made to finish the procedure.

Thirty Thousand, Nine Hundred and Fifty-Four (30,954) candidates representing 42.16%, obtained credit and above in a minimum of five (5) subjects, including English Language and Mathematics. Forty-Two Thousand, Four Hundred and Five (42,405) candidates representing 57.75%, obtained credit and above in a minimum of five (5) subjects.

The results of 7,871 candidates, representing 10.72% of the total number of candidates that sat the examination, are being withheld in connection with various reported cases of examination malpractice.

  • Enter Examination number
  • Select the Examination year as 2022
  • Select Examination type as PRIVATE CANDIDATES
  • Enter your PIN and serial number
  • Then click on submit to view your results
