In order to accommodate the large number of students who will be admitted to the school, Professor Suleiman, who served as the event’s chief host, stated that the University will use both physical and virtual means of learning. He emphasized that the ICT arm of the University has been adequately prepared for the task ahead.

He noted that not everyone is aware of the more unusual efforts teachers make for the students and thanked them for their support, kindness, and ability to teach. He maintained that if you are planning for a year, sow rice, if you are planning for a decade, plant trees, and if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people. His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Shehu Chindo Yamusa III CON is the Chancellor of Nasarawa State University NSUK and the Emir of Keffi.

The keynote speaker for the conference, Professor Ben Ben Akpan, Executive Director of the Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN), was the special guest of honor and Honorable Commissioner of Education, Hajia Fatu Sabo Jimeta.
