Borno State University (BOSU) Releases 2023/2024 Post-UTME/DE Form; The Borno State University extends an invitation to candidates who selected the University as their FIRST CHOICE during the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)/Direct Entry (DE) and achieved a minimum score of 150 points or higher.

Borno State University (BOSU) Releases 2023/2024 Post-UTME/DE Form

They are encouraged to apply for the Screening Exercise for admission into the University, which is scheduled to take place from September 6, 2023, to October 31, 2023.

To initiate the registration and screening procedures, prospective candidates should visit the University’s official website at http://www.bosu.edu.ng.

Eligibility Criteria:

i. Candidates must have designated Borno State University as their first choice institution and must have scored the minimum required cut-off marks for the programs they applied for. You can check the required cut-off marks on the University’s website.

II. Candidates should have obtained a minimum of five (5) relevant credits in their ‘O’ level examinations, including English and Mathematics.

III. They must have taken the appropriate subject combination in the 2023 UTME.

IV. Direct Entry (DE) candidates, in addition to the minimum of five (5) ‘O’ level relevant credits (including English and Mathematics), should have scored a minimum of 9 points or Merit in NCE and at least a lower credit in ND/HND or Second Class Lower in a Degree.

V. Candidates who haven’t met the required cut-off marks for their chosen programs but possess suitable scores are advised to change to other relevant programs through the JAMB portal.

VI. Candidates are required to ensure that their ‘O’ level results are uploaded to the JAMB website as soon as possible; those who do not comply will not be considered for admission.

VII. Candidates awaiting their ‘O’ Level results should indicate “Awaiting Result (AR)” in the grades column on the screening form and subsequently upload the results once their SSCE results are released.

Payment Procedure:

Eligible candidates should use their JAMB Registration Number as both username and password to confirm pre-loaded JAMB Details at https://bosu.admissions.cloud.

Generate a Remita code for payment using your MasterCard, Visa card, or print out the payment slip and make a payment of two thousand naira (N2,000) for the exercise at any bank branch.

Return online and log in with your JAMB registration details.

Complete the online form as directed.

Note: Physical screening will be conducted concurrently.
